How To Consign

Easy Steps to Consign

Merchandise is accepted any time during business hours. Appointments are not needed.
All Items must be: seasonal, pressed, current, in pristine condition. We ask that you please bring your items in for review folded and in a tote/basket/structured shopping bag.
There is no limit on the number of items.
There is a $5.00 Annual Fee to open an account. This fee is taken out every January 1st. There is no fee for people under 18 or over 65!
The consignor receives 50% of the recorded price. All consignors may collect their money in the boutique.
Length of consignment is 4-6 weeks. Any items that you would want returned to you at the end of consignment must be discussed at the time you bring in the items. It is your responsibility to contact us 24 hrs. ahead of the 4th week to let us know if you will be picking up your specially tagged items for return. There is a $1.00 fee per item to return them back to you. Because of limited space, items cannot be stored.
**Any item left in our possession after the expiration date will become the property of Fashion Exchange Consignment Shop.
Price reductions are made periodically to promote sale.
All items not sold after 45 days are donated to a charity chosen by Fashion Exchange. You may request a tax receipt for these items.
We accept clothing, shoes, handbags, scarves, sunglasses, belts, and designer perfume (if bottles are nearly full).

We must be selective if items are not sellable or if we are experiencing overcrowding in a section.

**If stains or imperfections are noticed while on the selling floor, the item is reduced or donated.**

Items not taken:

Discount brands
Lingerie/under garments
Custom or homemade items/any itmes that have been altered
Clothing that shows any age or wear or has an odor
Scrubs/work uniforms of any kind
Sleepwear
Children's clothing
Used hats/gloves/socks. etc.
Costumes of any kind
Destination/vacation apparel
Counterfeit designer items
Home decor/household items
Items without size and/or brand tags
Tarnished jewelry + costume jewelry

*We must be select and make decisions based on current demand and styles. We are looking for items 1-2 years old only. We strive to only take the best. We appreciate your cooperation & understanding! We are very select on items by Rue 21, Mudd, Wet Seal, Delias, Charlotte Russe, Arizona, Gloria Vanderbilt, Alfred Dunner, Levis, Liz Claiborne, Chaps, Dockers, etc. *
